The New England Shutterbugs Camera Club was founded on November 9, 2010 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.  The founding members established a forum where the focus of the club was to share by teaching, expose members to new technologies, provide opportunities to visit new places far and wide as well as to take the time to embrace what’s in their own backyard; all in the spirit of encouragement and friendship.

Seen through the eyes of the photographer and the click of the camera, incredible events, people, emotions, nature, and places are documented to keep them alive forever. These captured images awaken the past to be a part of the present.

Lifetime moments happen in a second but endure for generations.  Memories fade, but the vibrancy of photos can breath life back into a moment frozen in time.

This year’s exhibition will be held at Fitchburg Art Museum. It offers our member an exciting opportunity to see how we as photographers have grown and reached new heights.  Members of The New England Shutterbugs Camera Club are proud to present an array of photographs that “Capture Life”.
