"The Glennie"


About the Glennie


The Glennie is an international, all nature club competition with no individual entries.  It was founded in 1981 by the Merrimack Camera Club of North Andover, MA.  The Glennie is named after George W. Glennie, the founder and chairperson of their clubs first nature group.

The 2019 Glennie competition will be held on Saturday, April 6th at the Greater Lynn Photographic Society, 564 Boston Street, Lynn, Massachusetts.  It is opened to the public with the Judging beginning at 9:00AM until it is completed in the afternoon.

PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS MAY SUBMIT UP TO 10 IMAGES WITH NO MORE THAN 2  IMAGES BY EACH MAKER.  SUBJECTS RANGE FROM ANIMALS, BOTANY TO LANDSCAPES.

The following IMAGES WERE SUBMITTED INTO THE 2019 GLENNIE BY BILL LORIGAN, THE NESHUTTERBUGS EXHIBITION CHAIRMAN.
