Charlotte Lembo is an advanced photographer and one of the founding members of the New England Shutterbugs.  She recently retired from the US Postal Service where she was employed as a Supervisor and served 37 years in Civil Services.  Her years in Civil Service brought her to a variety of local communities where she discovered opportunities to see things that she may have never had seen.  The thought occurred to her to bring a camera along to capture some of her new found discoveries - just in case!

Charlotte camera of choice is a Canon and recently purchased a Canon 80D.  Although still educating herself with the ins and outs of her new camera, she loves the results she is getting.  Her favorite lens is the Canon 18-200 IS.  A great “walk-around” lens with a wide angle that offers a considerable amount of zoom when needed.  Another handy lens in her camera bag is a Sigma 120-400. Charlotte does not limit what she likes to photograph, however night photography ranks tops on her favorite list. She loves the contrast of colors against the darkness of night that night photography offers.

In Charlotte’s words: “As a member of the New England Shutterbugs, it has been a great learning experience over the years.  I have learned so much through the monthly competitions, club trips, and from other club members.  I’ve not only learned about photography but have been able to open a creative side of myself I didn’t know I had”.
