An indicator of her interest in photography at an early age is apparent in the photo of Nancy holding her Kodak Brownie camera close at hand.  The camera was a gift from her uncle, a professional photographer. This is the camera she used to snap images of her baby brother and her beloved cats.  All through her life she has remained curious and passionate about photography with a desire to learn more and hone her skills.  Nancy enrolled at Mass Art for semester of classes under the tutelage of Nick Nickerson; she studied with Harold Feinstein, the  famous photographer renown for his Coney Island images; and  has participated in many workshops.  Today her main interests are nature, and portraiture (especially children and animals).  Nancy joined the NEShutterbugs in 2017 to improve her technical skills and meet other photographers.

FYI - Nancy's selection of images featured on this page were taken with a film camera. - before digital photography.
